A message to Tyburn Ward residents from Trevor Holtom

Trevor

Dear fellow residents,

Firstly can I thank everyone for the warm and friendly welcome I have received on the door step whilst I've been out on the campaign trail. As you are aware, Thursday 5 May have two votes to cast.

(1) to elect me as your councillor to represent you on Birmingham City Council

(2) a referendum on having a fairer voting system which will make your MP more accountable

During these very difficult times for all of us, Councillor Ann Holtom and myself have been working tirelessly to help residents with their many problems. Nationally we have also introduced measures to help Tyburn's hard pressed families.

√ No increase in Council Tax

√ Cuts to income tax - seeing 15,000 brummies paying no tax at all

√ Help fpr our kids - the pupil premium will give over £570,000 additional money to Tyburn's schools

√ Help for pensioners, keeping inter fuel payments, cold weather payments, TV licences and concessionary bus passes, link between earnings restored and free eye tests and prescriptions

To continue this good work I need your support. By electing my to work alongside Councillor Ann Holtom, Tyburn Ward will become much stronger and able to deliver the services we all rightly deserve. I will also be a hard worker listening to everyone's concerns and doing my best to make our community a better place to live and work in.

Also by voting 'yes' in the referendum we will get a fairer voting system making our MP more accountable to us all.

Kind regards

Trevor Holtom

PS: Despite what they say, the Conservatives have never won a seat in Tyburn and can't win now. Voting for them will only let Labour back in.
